SurgeryTrack Services

SurgeryTrack, engages in multi-phasic network-wide administrative and clinical operations to achieve the following objectives for Surgical Care Affiliates and for our mutual clients and other partners.

Phase 1: Formation of High Performing Constraint Networks of Outpatient Surgical Care

  • Screen, interview and select surgeon providers and create the right mix of mindset, expertise, and geographic distribution of surgeons in each market.

  • Develop and grow the list of procedural codes (CPT codes) and their associated ICD-10 diagnosis codes that can be suitably performed in appropriate outpatient surgical venues. The CPT codes lists are compiled through expert review of evidence based literature and by establishing peer driven clinical consensus in local markets.

  • Establish patient selection criteria for safe performance of outpatient neurosurgical and orthopedic spine procedures.

  • Commit to creating a bundled payment system for predetermined episodes of care based on local historical expenditure in the corresponding service lines that include shared savings for the network providers.

  • Help clients manage the emerging and growing new global risk regarding hospital and outpatient surgical venues through the alignment of network referral strategies.

  • Identify appropriate aligned outpatient surgical venues.

  • Operationalize such aligned facilities based on the gold standards of surgical care and treatment in the neurosurgical and spine specialties.

  • Optimize and implement peri-operative patient safety criteria and monitor the technical quality of surgical procedures performed in our facilities at all levels of surgical care delivery.

  • Manage surgeon relationship and proactively and preemptively modify and optimize surgical decision making to allow for efficient and seamless redirected patient care to aligned surgical facilities.

  • Manage patient and referring physician expectations and perceptions regarding outpatient surgical care and the aligned facilities to optimize patient and physician satisfaction rates.

  • Coordinate, on a network-wide basis, outpatient surgical care by aligning administrative and clinical resources.
